We’re staying close to home this Independence Day weekend. We’ve tried out our new ice cream maker, had a swimming picnic at Lake Elmo Park Reserve, decorated our bikes and saw Fireworks on the 4th!

Megan’s kindergarten class had a track and field event recently, and someone had the eye of the tiger!

Grandma Pauline and Uncle Brent came for a visit this Easter weekend and we had a great time. The Easter Bunny brought us some excellent baskets filled with toys and candy. However the highlight of the weekend was Dad and Brent finally assembling our new play house – it’s truly awesome!

We all ran the inaugural Goldy’s Run at TCF Bank stadium the other day. Dad ran the 10 mile race and we ran the Kid’s Run around the stadium. We all finished on the field. It was a great event for runners and Gopher fans alike!

I’m 3 today! It’s hard to believe and it seems like I came home from the hospital just yesterday . For my birthday I got some really cool cars, dragons, coloring books and my own scooter. In the morning we all went to the aquarium (my favorite place). In the afternoon I rode my scooter with Megan. Finally for dinner we had my favorite dinner (“noodles”) and cupcakes! It was such a fun day, it’s sad to see it go.
