At a school fundraiser Megan was excited to see that her school had printed note cards using student art, and her picture was selected as the First Grade example. Additionally this picture (oil pastel and colored pencil) was selected to be among a small sampling of student work to represent her school at the St. Paul Public School’s Art Crawl exhibit. We braved cold rain to check it out in person.

My new ride!

This weekend Megan ran the 1 mile race with Grandpa Haas and Luke ran the 1/2 mile race with both Haas Grandparents as part of the Twin Cities Marathon festivities. We both did awesome and even got medals! The next day we watched Dad run the marathon (he also got a medal).

…of First Grade!

No summer is complete without getting ice cream from the ice cream truck! Thanks Grandma Haas!

Megan’s kindergarten class had a track and field event recently, and someone had the eye of the tiger!

We all ran the inaugural Goldy’s Run at TCF Bank stadium the other day. Dad ran the 10 mile race and we ran the Kid’s Run around the stadium. We all finished on the field. It was a great event for runners and Gopher fans alike!

…and falling down a lot. First lesson today.
