Luke and Dad went down to Turkey Day without the girls again this year. We couldn’t pick apples, but we were able to go pumpkin picking.

Turkey Day is generally not that fun, but this ice stomping was pretty cool.

It was a boys/girls weekend. Luke and Dad went down to visit Grandpa & Grandma Haas. We went to the apple orchard, went swimming, ran around in the gym and got to hang out at a very cold and rainy Turkey Day 10K race while Dad ran (I now understand Megan’s thoughts on Turkey Day). Megan and Mom went to the Mall of America where they went on the roller coaster, had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe and got bubble gum ice cream. All in all it was a great weekend!

I previously considered Turkey Day to be really boring. However I’ve decided that it’s actually pretty awesome. I rode on several rides and got a lot of candy at the parade (which I attended in my pajamas)! Waiting for Dad to run in the rain was still as boring as I remembered it.

We went to Turkey Day last weekend to see Grandpa and Grandma. It may seem like a lot of fun to sit in a stroller during the 10K race, but it’s actually REALLY boring.
