We’re staying close to home this Independence Day weekend. We’ve tried out our new ice cream maker, had a swimming picnic at Lake Elmo Park Reserve, decorated our bikes and saw Fireworks on the 4th!

We had a great Independence Day weekend. We went to Como Zoo and shot off a few fireworks in the backyard. The fireworks were a little too scary for Luke.

Another year of exciting fireworks action! Luke loved dropping the little snap fireworks and making them pop!

We celebrated Independence Day with some pretty weak fireworks from Target. There were a few exciting moments. Here is our 2006 4th of July post and a bonus picture of Luke laughing at Mom.
